Van’s reaction to seeing Lottie as the only surviving girl that we’ve seen who really believed in the wilderness religion is making me so crazy. You create a god out of your friend as a lost scared teenager how are you meant to cope with seeing her again as adults. What do you do with that.

Everyone else is like damn we thought Lottie went crazy what’s she doing here but Van is SHATTERED! She doesn’t want to see her she doesn’t want to have to face it she says she’s not going to stay but she can’t help but get out the car. She lives in the past but it’s in an idealised version of the past where they never crashed. Her home and her shop are a shrine to the 90s but she spent the 90s literally making a shrine to Lottie
